Use a public, versioned manifest to install LocalVeil Studio Preview without an email form or app account. The app processes supported images, PDFs, Word documents, and Excel workbooks on your Windows PC; source files are not uploaded by LocalVeil.

Install command

One manifest, one verifiable binary.

If Scoop is already installed, run the following command in a regular PowerShell window:

scoop install https://localveil.studio/downloads/localveil-studio-preview-scoop.json

Unsigned beta: the current Preview is not code-signed. Windows SmartScreen or security software may warn about an unknown publisher. Compare the full SHA-256 on the security page before running it. Installation through Scoop does not turn the Preview into a signed build.

  • A promise that every sensitive item will be detected

Always review every suggested region and reopen the exported copy before sharing it. The original file stays unchanged, but no automated detector can guarantee complete redaction.
